Topic: Hi5 support team , do something!!! Please!!!!
Hi5 is becoming worse day after day!
Most of the groups are "dying" because of the hi5 beta application!
Hi5 is slipping up badly. About 70 or 80% of your Greek members , have already deleted their profiles and aren't willing to rejoin hi5 anytime soon.

Bring back the old hi5!!! All these changes were for the worse unfortunately.
It's a real shame that you are losing so many members towards Facebook or Twitter.

DO SOMETHING!!!!

Thanks for spending your time to read this,

Tasos Orton.

I dont think the problem is an interface on hi5 or facebook,
I think the problem is more general,
how people like to communucate.

we dont like to spend 21h/week to keep a communication alive, it takes to much of our freetime.

we use apps like twitter. its dont take much time as to use a site like this.

So, I suggest hi5 to employ programmers, and make clients for this site and do the communication more instant :p

Marko , most of the things you said are completely correct!
I am not going to abandon hi5 as most of the other Greek members on it.
I firmly believe that if hi5 changes back to the previous version , everything will become better!

Hi5 beta was a complete failure.

No. I don't think that downgrading would ever be a solution to any social network! A possible solution, in my opinion, the only one, is to make another update and to implement something new, not same things in other frame... Please don't be offended! I really don't want to say anything about a crew that made sacrifices and putted all their efforts to make us, the users, happy! Bravo, Hi5 team! What i want to say, is that this design was not thinked perfectly... Is a design mented to bring a fresh air between links and to open the whole ansamble of colours... But are missing few features and, most of all, the effect! Few share options, would also be a good idea, on groups... This takes time and deep analyses. I don't want to loose Hi5 and i will not! I love this sociall network and here are the most of my friends... We'll see and will go through this, succesfully!

Hi guys,
We appreciate your concerns about the new hi5, its code, and its structure. Just wanted to include my opinion, not as a mod but as a user of hi5. My experience with interface designing since '89 has been very rewarding - everything online changes as if we're flipping pancakes; what's hot today may not be hot tomorrow, nevertheless only the companies that keep up with the changes make it through this battle. From the beginning hi5 did not want to be a direct competition with other websites instead it wanted to emphasize in a new social network experience with its unique attributes which some of the other sites decided to somehow imitate. I guess the only way to make things work is to accept that hi5 and its interest beside of generating some income is to maintain a level higher than other social networks. Each one is unique - what one locks the others offer, after all it is an open market always being explored by each and everyone of us. Hi5 has worked for me in so many levels that my experience here is so much special than any other place trying to imitate its services.

The web changes all the time.
today we use it as real time web,
at same time u write letter a the other user can se it.
(well soon we are there..)

I think 30 thausend apps is using twiter today, just because it is a realtime web page.

Now myspace do the same, open up the database to be real time accesed for developers to use,

the web is a hype, just follw the stream, or u will be a memmory that we used.

Marko,
I'm trying to understand your comment - hopping that I did not misunderstood I will give an answer.

Actually hi5 has changed to OpenSocial quite some time ago and companies are encouraged to use it if they want to participate and offer their services to all hi5 members. Some of the changes of the new hi5 version reflect capabilities to be able to tell your friends "What you are doing now" something that was already incorporated a long time ago even before this fad became popular. Your avatar has a real time modification too so you can change moods as needed. More options will be available as hi5 moves forward and hopefully more live actions will be added to your profiles in future versions.

OpenSocial: If you know of anyone that wants to add hi5 to their applications invite them to participate in hi5's OpenSocial. I leave you with the direct link to the corporate site.

yes,
Im not suggesting,
I do try my self to understand what happening on the net.

Open social is very nice step. we can communicate between the social pages. I think we should do that much more than we have seen.

Like cowork more with facebook, youtube, twitter etc,
When we publish a topic or a post, a channel on twitter could be createn. (twitter links)

I do see many apps using social sites,
take web browser flock as example.. I do not often see hi5 be present inside that ind of apps.
